I have items to consign. How does it work?​
We accept items for consignment Monday through Saturday, from 10 am to 5 pm, no appointment necessary. Drop off is optional but items not accepted into consignment must be picked up within 24 business hours or they will be donated. We accept clothing, shoes, purses, jewelry, and accessories that are in current fashion and in excellent condition. We do not accept anything that is not freshly laundered, and items must be free of stains, odors, pet hair, excessive wear and damage. Items for consignment must come in on hangers. We do NOT go through boxes, trash bags, or sacks of clothing! There will be a steam fee of $1.00 per item deducted from account if excessive wrinkles are present. We do not knowingly sell flawed, damaged or stained items and if we discover a damaged item during the consignment period, it will be taken off of the floor and donated without notification.

How does your store price items and what is the consignment split?
Curvy Chick's Consignment Boutique will establish the selling price of all items and the timing and percentages of any sales and markdowns. A-Line Consignment Boutique will receive 60% of the selling price for items under $100.00, and 50% of the selling price for items over $100.00. In addition, any credit card fees incurred will be split the same. Consignors may use their share of the sales towards store credit or collect payment by check at the first of each month, by request only. Any and all funds not claimed or used by the Consignor within one year from the date of consignment contract will be forfeited to Curvy Chick's Consignment Boutique.

End of Consignment
The consignment end date is listed on the Consignment Contract. Any items remaining after the end of the contract date will become property of Curvy Chick's Consignment Boutique and subject to donation. We DO NOT call to remind the consignor of pick up dates. Please call to schedule a pick-up date two weeks prior to the end of consignment period to ensure your items are ready for pick-up when you arrive. Due to extremely limited storage space, items not picked up within 72 hours of arranged appointment will be donated. A printout list of donated items may be requested for tax purposes. Curvy Chick's Consignment Boutique does not receive a tax credit for any donated items.

For pick-up requests consisting of more than *20* unsold items, there will be a *25* cent fee for each item.

How are Consignors paid?
Consignors may call to check on accounts at any time during operating hours. Consignor payouts will be available at the first of each month by request only. Please call at least one week ahead to notify us you would like to collect a check either by mail or pick-up. Need yours mailed? No problem. We can mail checks for a $1.00 fee. Checks are sent out on the first of the month.
What about stolen or damaged items?
Curvy Chick's Consignment Boutique has put in place many security measures to avoid theft and damage to items, however we are not responsible for any lost, damaged or stolen items while on consignment.

What is the policy for designer items?
We do not sell designer goods without authenticity. Items that cannot be verified by our research or the owner's documentation will not be considered for consignment.
